Navigating Your Business Settings
The Business settings tab in your CarBuddii web dashboard (
app.carbuddii.com) is the administrative core of your account. The information you provide here acts as the foundation for your rental contracts, digital test drive agreements, and automated system notifications.Because the data in this section affects how your business is presented to customers and how your team receives alerts, it is important to keep these details accurate and up to date.
Below is a breakdown of the five main sections within the Business Settings tab and what they control.
Company Details (Firmaoplysninger)
This section contains the core identity of your dealership or rental business.
- Basic Information: Here you can update your business name, registration number (CVR/Org. no.), address, and general contact email.

Invoicing Email: Specify the exact email address where CarBuddii should send your monthly subscription invoices (e.g., directly to your finance or accounting team).

SMS Sender Name: When a customer receives an SMS from CarBuddii (such as a link to a digital contract), this is the name they will see as the sender.
Important Note: The information entered in the Company Details section is automatically populated into various legal documents and agreements (such as test drive notes and rental contracts). If you change your company address here, all future documents generated by the system will instantly reflect the new address.
Contact Information
CarBuddii automatically monitors your fleet and agreements, sending out alerts when certain actions occur. In this section, you can specify exactly which email addresses should receive these four specific types of notifications:
- Email for rental notifications: Receives alerts regarding rental bookings or if a vehicle has exceeded its scheduled rental period.
- Email for digital signature: Receives notifications and warnings related to the digital signature process (e.g., if a signature fails or is pending).
- Email about lease extension from AutoVision: If your dealership uses the AutoVision integration, this email will be notified whenever a rental agreement is extended within that system.

Email for vehicle exit notifications: If you have set "Expiration dates" or "Expiration kilometers" on vehicles in The Garage, this address will receive a weekly status report listing all vehicles that are about to expire.
Rental Categories
If you manage a large fleet in the Plan-it calendar, Rental Categories help you keep things organized.
- Categories are used to divide your Plan-it calendar into groups of vehicles that belong to the same department (e.g., Sheet Metal Workshop, Mechanical Workshop, or Rental).

You can add, edit, or rename these categories here to match your internal dealership structure.

Subscription & Legal Documents
This section houses all the legal documentation regarding your CarBuddii software license. You can use the provided links to read or download:

User Management
The final section of the Business Settings page allows you to manage your team's access to the CarBuddii platform. Here, administrators can:
- Create new user accounts for new employees.

Amend existing user details and permission levels (Admin, Normal, or Light).

Delete or deactivate users who have left the company.
